Cloud Backup

Data loss is a nightmare no user wants to face. Files can be lost at the most unexpected moment and for various reasons, whether it's an accidental user error, system failure, a virus, or a hacker attack. When this happens, the only thing a user wants is the ability to restore all their data. Backup is one of the best ways to protect data in case of unforeseen situations and problems. In this article, we explain in detail what backup is, why it's worth doing, and how to do it.
Backup is the creation of file copies in case of primary data loss. Backups are complete copies of system data. They are intended for long-term storage and should not be stored on the original server to minimize risks. Backup is essential for creating a data archive protected from changes and damage, and for recovery in case of damage or failures in the original source.
Cloud backup has recently become a popular solution for keeping data safe, offering the highest availability and flexibility for users.
The most reliable type of backup is full image backup and recovery, which creates a copy of all data as a restore point to which the system will revert. This is the type Pro-Data uses to ensure maximum protection and security for client data.

First, you need to analyze your existing data and sort it by priority. Then, you need to determine how often backups should be made. To do this, you need to know how frequently different types of data change.
For example, the 1C database is high-priority data, with a large number of operations occurring daily, so it requires frequent backups. Various reports and documents are medium-priority data, while users' personal data is low-priority. Consequently, backups for these types of data are needed much less frequently.
How often backups should be created is a question that requires an individual approach and solution, depending on the business's needs and the data it processes.
For existing Pro-Data customers, scheduled backup is available at our UZ-3 location. You can activate the service by logging into your personal cloud platform account at: my.pro-data.tech and selecting the "Backups" section in the server settings.
For companies hosting their data on their own servers or with another provider, we recommend filling out the server order form, choosing a configuration, becoming a Pro-Data customer, and requesting backup setup.
